Water, San Joaquin Valley, & Sean Hannity

I received this e-mail today letting me know that the Sean Hannity Show will again be visiting the Central Valley to discuss the man-made drought created by Congress and our very own State officials. If you can come on the 17th of this month, they need all the people that can get there. If anyone wants to give me a ride, let me know. haha.

Here is the e-mail:

CALL TO ACTION

People ask, "What can we do?" Well now is your chance to help make a statement to the nation about the Congress-created water crisis affecting the Valley. Please attend this event.

Bring friends and relatives. Pass this information on to everyone you know. Ask them to attend and pass this information on to everyone they know.

It is important to give Sean a warm welcome and thank him for his vigilant efforts to increase national awareness of the man-made drought. We need to show our sincere appreciation to Congressman Devin Nunes, Paul Rodriguez, and all the others contributing so much effort by attending this event.

Sean Hannity Coming to Fresno
LIVE Broadcast From The Westside

Some of you may know by now, but Sean Hannity from FOX News will be coming to the Valley.

This time he is coming in person to do his entire show, Hannity, from the Westside.

Obviously, this is another important opportunity to highlight the serious issues we face here in the Valley, and to bring attention to the government imposed drought that we are all suffering through.

What: LIVE on the Sean Hannity Show for FOX News.

When: Thursday, September 17, 2009

Time: Show goes live at 6:00 p.m. (My suggestion is to plan on arriving by 5:00 p.m., because we are expecting THOUSANDS of people to attend.)

Where: A fallowed field on the Westside in Fresno County. (Tomatoes were grown on this land in 2008, but in 2009 NOTHING was planted because of the water cut-off.) Located on the south side of Highway 198, to the west of the Fresno/Kings County line. The field is exactly 8 miles WEST of Lemoore Naval Air Station. The field is very easy to find, because the main entrance is marked with a speed limit sign and a white wrought iron gate. (To view a photo of the entrance click here.) Also, the area will be clearly marked with signs and banners.

As it stands now, parking will be available on the shoulder of Hwy 198, or in the field adjacent to the field we are using for the set. The producers for Hannity have been in contact with the California Highway Patrol, and they will be on hand to assist with directing traffic, and to help with security.

The Latino Water Coalition has graciously agreed provide porta-potties, and Families Protecting the Valley has agreed to provide complimentary bottled water (much like they did for the Hannity event in Huron in August).

The list of guests scheduled to appear with Sean on the show is still being developed, and we should have a better understanding of the line-up by early next week. Confirmed guests include Paul Rodriguez and Congressman Devin Nunes. Stay tuned for more details as they develop.

Please do all you can to tell your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc., that we need to have a HUGE turnout for this. Or better yet, forward this email to everyone on your email distribution list. We need to show Sean Hannity and his team that we are dedicated to this cause, and that we are UNITED in our efforts to fight for our way of life.

Also, on the day of the show please tell Sean and his team "Thank you" for being the first in the national media to dedicate some of their time and efforts to our cause. It really is a gift they are giving us.

Best,

Johnny Amaral

Chief of Staff

Rep. Devin Nunes

Please don't forget our neighbors. They provide 50% of our food, and this is very hard work. They are not the ones who charge us so much. That is the governments hidden taxes! Now they are losing their crops and their homes. Please, let's join hands with them. Thank you, and God bless you.

Everyone please be civil to one another. The quickest way to lose a debate and the hearts and minds of the reader is to call them names. We are all Americans, we just disagree.
