'Those Voices Don't Speak for US'
President Ronald Reagan reminds us of an age old concept which we must write on our hearts. Those voices do not speak for US. The Left is so far out of touch because their process has been corrupted by the ideals of those who've only sought power, not freedom nor Liberty. Please listen. It's only 2:17 minutes long, but as usual, it says a lot.
Here's the URL in case you cannot view the video. ;)

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Star Parker's 1st Commercial
Star Parker is running for Congress in the 37th district (California), and she is quite a lady. I saw her again at the rally and the Town Hall she isn't afraid of having on Monday. She is awesome.
She now has first commercial up and running, and I would love for you to visit it and leave your comments there and/or here.
In case this blog doesn't work properly, you will find the video here.
We have put so much hard work into trying to stop this health insurance boondoggle, the stimulus which only prevented the states from doing what was necessary, the car fiasco, the wall street fiasco, the bank fiasco, the finance fiasco, and the global warming fiasco. Dear Emperor, you have no clothes!
Am I indicating that some those fiascoes didn't need reform? No, I am not. What I am saying is that the Democrats did not only listen to any Conservative plans (they denied we had any, remember?), they would not even allow Republicans to offer anything during their behind the scenes deals.
I don't know about you, but I've about had it with both parties! Weak-kneed Republicans trying to be Democrat-light, and Democrats running as though they are Conservatives because they know that's the only way they can win. This leads to what we have just witnessed over the past two years. Dictatorship. And I, for one, am not having it.
I want my Life, Liberty, and Private Property that is GOD-GIVEN (not government-given) back. One way or the other. Hopefully at the ballot box. We must keep a close eye on the Democrats and ACORN though. No one is going to steal this election. (Yes, ACORN is alive and doing rotten things.)
Please vote for Star Parker if you live in this district. She is sincere, down to earth, accessible, honest (a rarity, I know), she is intelligent on the issues, she is just plain intelligent, and she knows of what she speaks. She started her own business, she is helping people and children of all colors in the inner cities and elsewhere, and that takes a lot of knowledge.
Also, can this woman speak! One day, I would like her to run for president, but let's concentrate on getting her elected Congresswoman for now. You may contribute to her campaign if you feel so inclined at Star Parker for Congress. I know she would appreciate your support. Out here in California, it costs a lot of money to put your ads on TV. Please consider a contribution. Thanks.
Pardon me for going on and on her, but I really like Star. I believe in her. I am also going to hold her feet to the fire, however! From now on, we have only just begun...Have a blessed day.
Hat tip: Jose Manso.

LB Patriots Mentioned In Press-Telegram!
All the hard work, the many Tea Parties, the protesting at Richardson's office, the travelling, it has paid off this Monday. We have finally been mentioned in the Press-Telegram which is our local newspaper. The link is right here. I hope you enjoy it! Have a blessed day.

Star Parker 4 Congress Town Hall
The evening after the rally Oct. 4th (which I hope to see all of your friends and family and you there), Star is going to have a Town Hall beginning at 7 pm until 9 pm. It will be held at the Petroleum Club, 3636 Linden Avenue, Long Beach, CA. The Long Beach Patriots have also been invited to attend.
We will be allowed to ask questions when the time is right, and I hope many of you have great questions. I personally want Star Parker to beat Laura Richardson to win, but we still have to hold each congressional critters' feet to the fire.
Our work is just beginning. We need a steering committee, and I am searching for volunteers. One man has already stood up for the cause. I hope many others will follow up in their own way. See ya there!

This is good video by Chuck Norris helping us to remind you to Register To Vote and then, Don't Forget To Vote! It is very important that we all remember in November the way we've been treated as if we were little pests during the two or six years we've had to endure them. Now it is our time to speak, and speak we shall. God bless.
Here is the link for YouTube just in case...

Prop 23 Saves Jobs and Billions
Here is the lowdown on Prop 23 vs AB 32 (global warming). Assemblyman Dan Logue is the author of Prop 23, so what is it all about? Very simply, we pay higher costs for utilities, food, gas, etc during this depression, or we can put a stop to AB 32 from destroying our state. Here is what he has written. Please help me spread it far and wide.
We are fortunate to have an insider who sees the world in a sane way, and he has sent me this information. Actually, he has his own site (CA Political News), and I highly recommend it. This particular post may be found here.
May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.
Digg!
By Assemblyman Dan Logue, for the California Political [N]ews and Views, 7/26/10
If you had a choice between paying several thousand dollars a year in higher utility, fuel, food and other costs, and temporarily postponing an ineffective global warming law until the economy improves, it would be a simple decision, right?
Well, thanks to the 800,000 voters who signed petitions to put the California Jobs Initiative on the November ballot, voters will actually have a chance to make that choice.
The California Jobs Initiative is a common-sense proposition that will temporarily suspend implementation of AB 32, the states global warming law, until our unemployment rate returns to a level closer to where it was when the law was originally adopted by the Legislature.
If successful, the initiative will save over a million jobs and save California businesses and families billions of dollars in higher energy and other costs resulting from regulations aimed at reducing greenhouse gas, or carbon, emissions associated with global warming.
Heres why. AB 32 requires a radical shift in where California gets its energy, necessitating huge investments in alternative power sources such as wind, solar, and hydrogen. Its estimated the transition will cause gasoline and diesel prices to increase by $3.7 billion a year, natural gas rates to go up by 57% a year, and electricity rates to rise by up to 60%.
Other AB 32 regulations are expected to increase the cost of a new home by $50,000 and add several thousand dollars to the price of a new car. And the Air Resources Board is considering a cap and trade carbon tax of $143 billion.
Those higher energy costs will translate to increased overhead for businesses large and small, who will pass all or part of that cost onto their customers in the form of higher prices not only for utilities and fuel but just about everything we use on daily basis, such as food.
Those higher prices are likely to result in a downturn in business, which in turn will lead over a million lost jobs, according to a recent study.
Its bad enough that these billions in higher costs and loss of a million jobs would come at the worst possible time, considering there are almost 2.3 million Californians already unemployed, our states chronic $20 billion budget deficit and hundreds of billions in debt. But AB 32, which was created specifically to help reduce global warming, wont make one bit of difference in terms of worldwide greenhouse gas emissions reductions.
Because global warming is a global challenge, and because California accounts for a minuscule percentage of all greenhouse gas emissions, AB 32 on its own cant make a difference in global warming. The California Air Resources Board itself has conceded: California acting alone cannot reduce emissions sufficiently to change the course of climate change worldwide.
And California indeed would be acting alone if we implement AB 32 as currently scheduled. Other states and other nations have dramatically downsized their climate change plans in recognition of the fact that their economies just cant sustain the costs necessary to meaningfully reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
I recently asked Californias non-partisan Legislative Analysts Office (LAO) to evaluate what the impact of going it alone with AB 32 would be on our states economy. The response was disturbing.
The LAO found that California-only implementation of AB 32 would be likely to adversely affect Californias economy in the near term because of the related energy price increases. This would in turn result in higher prices for goods and services and reduced production, income and jobs.
The LAO has reported elsewhere that suspending AB 32 would save local governments and the state millions in costs, and prevent loss of tax revenues as well.
One other important fact: AB 32 deals only with carbon emissions, which while associated with global warming present no threat to public health or the environment. California already has the strictest laws in the county to protect our air and water from smog and other pollutants, and those laws will remain intact under the California Jobs Initiative.
Unfortunately the Governor, the Legislature and the Air Resources Board have steadfastly refused to intervene in the timing of entirely symbolic global warming regulations that could turn our states current economic crisis into a permanent financial disaster.
Thats why the California Jobs Initiative is so important. It will protect over a million jobs and save California families and businesses billions of dollars in higher energy costs. Considering wed be spending that money and sacrificing those jobs for a global warming law that wont do anything to reduce global warming, it should be an easy choice for California voters.

Candidate Star Parker's Commentaries
This is one brilliant lady, and we are so fortunately to finally have someone who will represent us. She does many things in the private sector, and one of those things is writing commentaries.
Her latest commentary is Can Republicans win the Hispanic vote? I believe we can if we would just drop the color/ethnicity language. I know Star is trying to get us to see this, but it is so difficult since the Democrats use it as their tool when they have no ideas to discuss.
Here is a list of some of her past published articles.
Can Republicans win the Hispanic vote?
The simple path to Middle East peace.
Today's political mandate: Become American again.
A new, emerging black leadership.
Who is governing America?
Is it racist to criticize Greece?
The NAACP and abortion politics.
Defining the liberal versus conservative divide.
Two views in conflict.
Neil Cavuto interviews Star Parker.
I plan to volunteer for Star, and I am hopeful that everyone who attended our Long Beach Patriots Tea Parties will do the same. We must defeat Laura Richardson. She does not want to hear any one's voice on any topic. This is NOT what a Representative is honored to go to Washington DC for us to do.
A new voice. A new perspective. Many new ideas. Star Parker (CA-37) listens to us. Yes, I see good days ahead. We're almost at the end of the darkest tunnel in which I have ever lived. Will you help us, please? Have a blessed day.
May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Voters Guide: Primary 2010
Hi. Just in case you are wondering in which way others are voting, I am going to share with my Republican friends how I plan to vote. I have to only share with them because that is the way it is set up, and I like it this way. Would you want Conservatives voting on the Democrat ticket? Then why bother having any differences?
I guess I have that Prop 14 under my skin. How many of you know that it is on the ballot by the government and no one had to collect signatures? Ah, that's what I thought. These greasy scumbuckets think we're stupid. Let us show them we're not. What's more, let's remove them from office and put them in the unemployment line!
Okay, now I got that off my chest, we can get down to business.
This is for people who live in the state of California and Assembly District 54 and Congressional District 37.
GOVERNOR: Steve Poizner.
LT. GOVERNOR: Sam Aanestad
SEC of STATE: I'm not sure. I'm leaning toward Orly Taitz. If anyone can show my why Dunn is a better choice, I'm open to listening. The Christian election forum has 2 thumbs up for Damon Dunn, so I'll do some more research on him.
UPDATE: I have been contacted by several of Orly's supporters and Orly herself. I'm sorry to say that it was only to show what they perseved as Damon Dunn's shortfalls. Was he registered as a Democrat for sometime in his life? Yes. Is he a registered Republican now? Yes. Do we never forgive people for seeing the light? YES, we do. Do we like it when you people do not tell us more about themselves rather tearing down their opponent? NO. Therefore I will be supporting Damon Dunn. Sorry Orly, but I hate politics as usual. Did you learn nothing from the Tea Parties? *sigh*
CONTROLLER: David Evans. He is a CPA, and that's what we need. Tony Strickland has been around govt TOO long. He's term limited out and looking for a new job. Throw the bums out!
TREASURER: Mimi Walters. She may be the only person on the ballot, but I am voting for her. There is another candidate in a different category who is in the same position (only candidate), but I refuse to vote for him. I do like Baca at all. Besides, he's been here too long.
Attorney General: JOHN EASTMAN. This is only candidate who actually KNOWS the Constitution and will apply it for WE THE PEOPLE and not the politicians.
INSURANCE COMMISSIONER: Brian Fitzgerald. Villines is a tax-increaser.
Member State Board of Equalizer: NO ONE BOTHERED TO RUN. That is how we keep getting stuck with Democrats.
US SENATOR: Chuck DeVore.
US House of Representatives: STAR PARKER!!! Vote for her, please. I dropped out of the race to support her. I was NOT offered a job when I did it, since she knew nothing of me. And she has too much character to even try to play a democrat game. She has more class in her little finger than Laura Richardson ever could achieve had she wanted to.
Member of State Assembly: Martha E. Flores-Gibson
Party Central Committee: John Cozza. I've left him a message to see who else is a Conservative. Otherwise, I'm only voting for him. If you do not know who you are voting for, then please do not fill out all seven. You do not have to do that. Only vote for those you know to be Conservatives. Are we not tired of business as usual? You bet!
If you do not know how to vote for the judges, I have written a post called Voters Guide: Judicial earlier.
Superintendent of Public Instruction (School): Dianne A. Lenning. I know her from coming to our Tea Party. Her love for the Military and children instead of government gives her much to proud of.
ASSESSOR: John Lewis Dortch.
Propositions:
13: Proposition 13, if approved by the state's voters, will prohibit tax assessors from re-evaluating new construction for property tax purposes when the point of the new construction is to seismically retrofit an existing building. If successful, it will amend Section 2 of Article XIII A of the California Constitution.
California state senator Roy Ashburn is the amendment's primary sponsor.
Heck NO. WAIT! I've just read it again, and it does not say what I thought it did. I thought it would only apply to new construction. Of course, they have to retrofit the house, duh. It's part of the code. Since it is part of the code it is like the federal govt telling California we have to do something that costs a lot of money. Who the heck are they to demand we pay money for their friends benefit???
I've changed my mind. YES ON PROP 13. Wheh.
14: NO
15: No
16: No, even though everyone wants to vote yes. I don't believe govt should own anything. Period.
17: No, Permits companies to reduce or increase cost of insurance depending on whether driver has a history of continuous insurance coverage. Fiscal Impact: Probably no significant fiscal effect on state insurance premium tax revenues.
Ballot label details - Support - Opposition - Editorial positions.
I've shared with you with whom I voting. I hope this will help some people to make up their mind one way or the other. Either way, don't forget to vote this coming Tuesday unless you are a Democrat or a Meg supporter. haha. Only kidding...sort of. ;)
May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again.

Voters Guide: Judicial
There is a Christian gentleman by the name of Craig Huey who researches the votes, the speeches, and many aspects of these judges who are on the ballot for this June 8th vote. I will not say whom I am voting for, because this is your vote, your voice. I just wanted to give you some information since we are never provided any.
The names who do not have a number beside them I believe may be running for the first time and/or have no record. Please remember to vote this June 8th! Have a nice day.
June Election Recommendations
Warning: Do NOT vote for a judicial activist or unqualified judges.
The June California primary ballot has important races for Superior Court judges…but it’s often hard to tell which judges you should vote for.
Unfortunately, many judges sitting on California courts may be incompetent, corrupt, lazy or soft on crime.
Even worse, many are political opportunists who have a political agenda—they are “judicial activists”
A judicial activist legislates from the bench. Instead of strictly interpreting California law, these judges make the laws. Instead of applying the law to facts, they impose their own values on us all.

Should I Run For Rep. 54th District, CA?
I have been organizing Tea Parties, petitioning my Congresswoman and Senators, Assemblywoman and State Senator, and I have come to the conclusion that the only way to solve California's problems is to get rid of everyone in office and replace them with grassroot people like us. In order to do this, we need many volunteers to step up to the plate. This is a grassroots movement politicians. How does the unemployment line look now?
I have met so many talented people while in Long Beach, Los Angeles, Sacramento, and through the internet and on conference calls. I believe there are enough of us to do what needs to be done.
Many may ask (or say) that we have no experience in politics. For some of us this is true, others of us have helped at campaigns. Those of us who have helped at campaigns I believe are sick and tired of elected liars and have been very disappointed at all the broken promises.
So what and who am I? I am a Conservative who loves animals, sports, family, the Military, the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution. I am a pro-life, Evangalical Christian who believes the government has crossed the line. Which one, you ask? Good question, since they've crossed so many.
No government has the right to deprive a city, town, or individual of their livlihood without fair compensation [See 5th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States]. This has been so distorted that there are citizens within our Central Valley that have ZERO water because of a stupid ALIEN fish. That is correct. It's origins are NOT the Delta. So why don't they catch them all and let them go somewhere else? Because that makes sense!
That is just one example of government intrusion. How do you like these new showerheads that moniter how fast the water is coming out? I'll tell you what, I'm tired of running around in the shower trying to get wet!
There are 5000 committees which pay very nicely (we have 5000+ cases of 'taxation without represention'), some or most receive over $100,000 per year for meeting once a month. Yes, these are termed-out politicians. They all need to be shut down. That includes you too, CARB [California Air Resources Bureau(?)]. TURN THE WATER ON!
I question whether or not I am a free marketer, or if the people who use that term realize what an oxymoron it is. Let's take a quick look at China. That country that sold and/or watch as almost all of nuclear arms flowed into N. Korea's warchest. We don't charge China for the junk they bring into our country to undercut our own manufacturers, yet we have to pay tarriffs and wonder still if they will come and take our companies. Hmm. Is that free-marketing? Not in my eyes. If I'm wrong, please explain to me why trading with an enemy of America is 'free'?
I am interested in foreign policy issues, but I believe our state is in much more need of fixing. Although someone should still run against Congresswoman Richardson. She has stayed in office only because no one opposes her.
In the State of California, we should have a Right to Work Law. As most of us have seen, ACORN is a corrupt organization, and they have their tenacles everywhere, such as the SEIU and other unions. I do not believe Californians should be penalized or forced to have their money stolen from them when they choose not to belong to a union. However if they choose to belong to a union, that's a different story. But it should not be any of our business! Don't we have enough to fix?
Well, I've addressed only a few of my concerns. I'd really like to talk about the schools and my easy solution to some of the problems. Make the principle the boss. Let the teachers teach reading, writing, math, history, American History, languages if they choose, art, sports, Excercise, etc. Teachers are closest to their students so they know what is needed. You will never be able to convince me that someone in DC knows what is better for our students than do our parents and teachers. Never.
So, should I run for California's State Assembly District 54? I would like your feedback. If I receive a good amount of comments, I will start an exploratory committee. Until then, I have to wait. Why? I don't know too many people. Yes, I know this is a drawback, but that's what hitting the pavement is for! On the brighter side, I have fresher ideas and the passion to go along with them. Being a Citizen Representative may be just the shot in the arm this state needs. What say you?
I'd like to thank all of you in advance for your comments, suggestions, critiques, etc. I cannot eccept any money yet, so don't ask why I don't have it set up yet. Without officially opening the exploratory committee, I cannot receive monies for this purpose. I'll let you know where to find the site I set up so you contribute once everything is in motion. God bless you, and be safe.
PS. Platform? Drill here, drill now. Cut taxes and stop stealing property taxes. Fire the 5000+ 'committee employees' who work one hour per month. Get a real job you lazy politicians! TURN THE WATER ON! More to come...maybe.
