AAR: March On Sacramento 8/28

It was absolutely fantastic! There were 10's of thousands of people there, and it was so peaceful. At the same time, you could feel the outrage at our government in the air. No, you couldn't see it on the people's faces, but we knew why we were there. We knew who was responsible for all those farmers and truckers losing their jobs and their homes. It is the GOVERNMENT and never forgot that.

There was music, Veterans, radio show host broadcasting the event, and speakers from all different backrounds. There were farmers, truckers, Congressmen, Assemblymen (the rest of the Assemblycritters got scared and went home!), farm workers, residents, and so much more. It was so moving at times that I had to hide my tears. Something must be done NOW.

We can still do something. We must continue to call our assemblycritters and state senators to urge them to support AB 118. This will abolish AB 32, the global warming bill. Even if you do not live in California, please call! We need all the help we can get.

I have a link to an AWESOME video. It won't fit here, but it is so great, REVOLUTION BREWING - August 28 Sacramento Tea Party Express, courtesy of Camera Horse.

Lloyd Marcus is not only fine, he is a great musician. He is also very kind. In this tape, you will find many posters, speakers, CNN was there--did you hear anything about the event? Ha. This was done by someone who just happen to have a video camera with her. She did an excellent job. The tape does stall a little, but I think that's my computer. It is bearable. Much.

He is going with the Tea Party Express - which is no way associated with any of the Californian Tea Parties - to 35 cities until they reach Washington DC on September 12th.

Which reminds me, we will be having a Tea Party here on September 12th! Los Angeles county and Orange county have combined efforts this time, and we will be holding this Tea Party at the Federal Building in Los Angeles. Wow. I am worn out! But I feel great. God bless everyone, and good night. (More to come.)

You Can Still Help!

Tomorrow there will be thousands of Californians landing on the state Capitol due to many issues, some of them include AB 32, AB 118, water, taxes, etc. But many who like to come are unforunately unable to join us. You can still help.

How? By calling, e-mailing, and faxing. AB 32 was passed 3 years ago in order to stop the spread of greenhouse gases. (The poor trees will die because of this stupidity.) It is running businesses out of California, and many more people are finding themselves unemployed. We shall be discussing these issues at the rally.

I have a list of people who voted for AB 32 three years ago. Please call them and let them know they have a second chance to make things right by voting for AB 118.

Marching On Sacramento Below

I've added another post and wouldn't want you to miss the information I posted below, Info For Marching On Sacramento 8/28. Just click on the link, and it will take you to the article. Thanks and have a blessed day.

The Marching Feet Of Patriots

This beautiful poem was e-mailed to me by Kirk A., and I love it. I hope you will as well.

PATRIOTS.

We glance about and see the signs, as memories buried deep
Begin to surface in our thoughts, and make it hard to sleep.
For once within our country there was freedom earned by blood
And full belief that freedom came from all our trust in God.
But now it is as though the story needs to be re-told.
What's that! I hear the marching feet of patriots of old!

You can't usurp a country born by those whose hearts were free
Who structured laws and government to work for you and me;
Who threw into the king's own court his yoke of tyranny
And vowed to die before they ever gave up liberty!
Those men and women's honor was the type that can't be sold!
O yes! I hear the marching feet of patriots of old!

Our country is the only one that fought for Freedom's Way.
To freely live religion and to give each man his sway;
To build and prosper honestly--not plunder nations' wealth.
And so we thrived as vigorous youth[s] of joy and strength and health.
O! Liberty is in our veins, by God to us bestowed!
That's why I hear the marching feet of patriots of old!

Now tyranny has reared it head again within our land,
And cunning foes from many parts think vic'try is at hand.
For treason has been purchased by the best laid plans of men
From godless politicians who do not yet know their end.
O give me men of honesty, whose hearts are made of gold!
Alas! I hear the marching feet of patriots new and old!

Info For March On Sacramento 8/28

August 28th, 2009 12-5 p.m.
State Capitol Building - Sacramento
.

First I'd like to apologize for not writing this earlier. There is so much information coming at me that I sometimes miss the e-mail. (Over 300 e-mails per day.)

Well, let's get caught up. August 28th is coming up on us swiftly, but we are prepared. However we still have many people who are asking how they can help. Here are two ideas. If you have any questions that are unanswered by that site, please e-mail them.

1. Go to www.SAC828.org and download the promotional flyers you'll find there. Please print and distribute as many as you can. We don't want anyone who can attend to say they didn't know about the event.

2. Check out our new promotional video for the event by clicking here. Please spread this around to everyone you know.

The speakers list is growing, so I do not know everyone who is going to be there. I can, however, give you a clue. I know Congressman Tom McClintock and Congressman Nunes will be here, as will talk radio personalities Armstrong and Getty, Eric Hogue, and Andy Caldwell. Andrew Breitbart, noted conservative Hollywood blogger, of Breitbart.com will also be here.

Eric Hogue (mentioned above) of KTKZ's Capitol Hour (AM 1380) will be on hand to broadcast live, Andy Caldwell of KINF on the Central Coast will do the same, and we expect to have many more talk show hosts broadcasting live from our on-site media center.

Yes, there will be live-streaming! On Eric's Townhall website, he has interviews with Mark Meckler (California's Tea Party Co-Coordiator) and Congressman Tom McClintock.

If you want to come in the night before, rooms have been reserved at the Hyatt Regency across the street from the Capitol building. The rate is $129.00 per night if you mention the Sacramento Tea Party. You can reach the Hyatt at 916-443-1234.

Bring Your Family and Friends. Tell all the business owners you know. It's time to get government off of our backs and set California businesses free to create jobs and prosperity for all.

There is one more (that I know of) issue to discussed. They need many volunteers to do:

1. Set Up
2. Tear Down
3. Crowd Control
4. Registration - booth and clip board
5. Merchandise
6. Donations
7. Information

(If you can help, please send an email with your volunteer area of interest (from the list above), in the subject line at: Tea Party Coalition.)

You may avail yourself to more than one item. There are going to be press critters, thousands of us and we need as many of us as can come, so we want to keep it as organized as possible.

A word from myself. Please don't litter. If you cannot find a garbage can, maybe you can bring an extra bag? You know the kind they give you when you buy some groceries? They make excellent garbage collecters. I hope to meet so many of you there! I am really looking forward to this.

In case this is the first you've been to this site, I have never done anything like this before in my life until April 15, 2009 and July 4, 2009. They say it gets easier with time. I have one question. WHO IN THE HECK IS "THEY"? hehehe. Have fun with this as well as speaking your mind.

This is important, but let it not take away from us those we hold dear and all the other important things in our lives. It is a shame that Congress and the California Assembly do not realize this, but the most valuable things in our lives cost not one red cent...and they could never provide it. *sigh* Digg! Digg!

Hurry: Save Our Water Petition!

There is a petition going around for Californians, but it must be signed by tomorrow. Please help us to spread this far and wide so we can get as many signatures as possible. I've already signed it. Won't you help?
Final “Rush” in PLF’s “Save Our Water” Petition Drive

The rush is on! Pacific Legal Foundation's (PLF’s) “Save Our Water” petition campaign heads into its final days. Over 11,700 citizens have signed the petition to urge Governor Schwarzenegger and President Obama to support the convening of the so-called “God Squad” to alleviate the human misery from the regulatory drought. Thank you for your support and we urge others to sign before the August 19, 2009, deadline. Next Wednesday, PLF joins other petition supporters, including the California Chamber of Commerce, Western Growers, Representative George Radanovich, farmers, and farmworkers at the state Capitol in Sacramento at a news conference.

California’s water crisis continues to gather media attention. Fox News’ Sean Hannity featured a live segment with Paul Rodriguez of the California Latino Water Coalition, and Representative Devin Nunes from an almond orchard in Huron, one of the hardest-hit areas by the government-imposed drought.

Sincerely,

Robin L. Rivett, President
Pacific Legal Foundation
I appreciate every signature. It is necessary for us in California to have enough water so that we may survive. It is also necessary for America since we produce 40% of the world's products. I don't know how produce is in the 40%, but I imagine it is quite a bit. So you see, they must stop playing games with ecology! Thank you.

Promo Video!

This is a video that was created for us to promote the www.SAC828.org Tea Party (Aug. 28th). I hope you enjoy it. Please take it and spread the news to everyone in California. Get them to come our Tea Party. This is the big one. This one is all about California. Are you tired of the way they ignore you? How about the fact that a fish' life is more important than yours? (Fish can adapt to almost any of the like water.) Take a listen.

If you cannot view this video here, go to YouTube from here.

Please feel free to leave comments. I'd like to know what you think. I know what I think, but I shall remain silent so as not to infuence your opinion. Unlike the NY Times. ;)

Have a great day!

We need reasonable people to deal reasonably with whatever we Californians face. Together we stand...

Description for www.TeaPartyPatriots.org:
Are we angry? You bet. Are we Republicans being paid to do this? NO! We are Californians who are fed up with these runaway politicians who think it's alright to give raises to staffers while shutting down schools and putting farmers and loggers out of work because of a stupid fish. Hey, fish adapt you idiots. That is right, I am angry. You have ruined our beautiful state, and we are here to let you know your ride is OVER come election day. Before then, however, we need you to act responsibly and quickly! Save California!

A Tribute To Our Heroes

While we are fighting the good fight against Congress and the president, we must never forget those who are far away from home fighting the good fight for our very lives. It is to them this tribute is sent.

Just in case the link goes wacky, you can watch it on YouTube.

Yes, they are my heroes. I pray they are yours as well. Have a blessed day.

Hat tip: Pastor Ed.

May you walk with the LORD always, and when you cannot take another step, may He carry you the rest of the way until you can walk along side Him again. Digg! Digg!

AAR: LB Patriots Go To Congress

It was a wonderful day today. The tempature was excellent, and there were 7 people in total who attended. That's 6 more than last time!

Congresswoman Laura Richardson was not present today, but she will be back Tuesday. She is also going to be holding a Townhall meeting sometime in the fall. I asked if this healthcare insurance would still be a topic of concern, but no one could really be certain.

I don't blame them. They don't know if bill HR 3200 will be passed by then or if we have been successful. It was very nice seeing them again. Everyone in her office remembered me from July 17th, and they were all very polite.

For the people who did go up to her office, they had a form already printed for anyone who has concerns about HR 3200 (and the other bills). I guess there are so many people interested in this topic that they prepared a form just for this. This was very thoughtful and smart thinking.

I'm not saying we've said anything that would persuade her to vote against HR 3200, just that she was on top of the issue as far as her constituents were concerned.

We had a wonderful time. Well, I did. I started to read the e-mail Jamie had sent me, and then we sort of went off into different topics. It was a very good discussion. We talked about Social Security, how most government programs are going broke and they want to another want one(?), the end of life counselling and how they said it has been taken out of the bill (which one?) yet we warned them not to believe them because of the resolution process, and some other things.

We definitely talked about our disappointment that Congresswoman Richardson was not going to hold a Townhall meeting about something so vital to her constituents. I thought maybe I would have a Townhall meeting for her with an empty chair for her, but I'm doing too much as it is. That would have been fun though, wouldn't it?

Thank you to everyone who came, and thank you to those who took the time to respond and let me know you couldn't make it. As long as we keep the pressure on in a peaceful manner, we may just win this issue. Let us pray! God bless ya'll. Digg! Digg!

Garden Grove Townhall Meeting

I received a call from a nice lady, Janell, who shared with me some information that may interest some of you. While I do not live in Garden Grove, nor do I wish to step on anyone's toes, she wants this information out there. How could I deny her?

Cngressman Ed Royce will be having a Townhall meeting Saturday, August 22, 2009, at Kelly's Coffee at 9am. The address is 9783 Chapman Ave, Garden Grove. I don't have a zip code for that. For more information, you may call Kelly's at (714) 744-4130. (I think that's Kelly's Coffee's number and not Ed Royce's.)

Congressman Royce recommends that you bring a folding chair just in case all the seats are already taken. Pretty good idea. If anyone is going from Long Beach, please email me. I'd like to go. ;)

Ya Don't Say?!?

Oh, my, my. What priviliged people we have, don't ya know. This man is very upset that one of his constituents would have the gall to ask him about healthcare. Well, sir, he does pay your salary, I think that is reason enough for you treat him with more respect than if he were something smelly you found on your shoe. Here is the link: Meltdown: Democrat Congressman David Scott of Georgia Goes Berserk At Townhall.

This man has already voted for the following:
  • $787 BILLION TARP Fund
  • $1.2 TRILLION Stimulus Bill
  • "Cap and Trade" Energy TAX Bill
  • Bailouts for Banks and Auto Companies
Have you had enough of this there in Georgia? Then THROW THE BUM OUT!

Hat tip: RightMarch. It is up to you if you decide to visit their site, but I must give them credit for video. As far as I'm concerned, we should throw the bums out of BOTH parties and start anew. Have a blessed day!

LB Patriots Go To Congress

If Congresswoman Richards won't come to us, we'll go to her. This Friday, August 14, 2009, at 12-2 pm, we shall go to her downtown Long Beach office located at 100 West Tower (100 Broadway, between Pacific Ave. and Pine St.). There shall be no violence. We are not doing this for any of the reasons the elitists claim. We shall be going because it is our right to assemble and redress. Look it up, Dems. It's that irritating thing called the FIRST AMENDMENT!

We shall be discussing Healthcare and our concerns, we shall also offer alternative ways to approach this problem. It is my belief we have this problem directly related to the federal government, so I see no reason to believe they know anything about healthcare (insurance).

This is listed at my facebook site and Tea Party Patriots. The name of the event is "LB Patriots Go To Congress" and listed under Long Beach Patriots. (Everywhere.)

If you can post this information, that would be great. Invite all of your friends, co-workers, family members, etc. Remember, this is a civil gathering, so remind them to be remain civil no matter what they try to do to us. The police station is right down the street. hehehe.

Please bring posters if you like, but please be tasteful. Try not to pick on one party or the other. In my opinion, it's all of their faults! THROW THE BUMS OUT! ;)

Thanks, and have a blessed day.

Update: Here is the actual posting for the event. It may come out a little off because I don't know how to do columns. Oh well.

Host: Long Beach Patriots.

Beating At Townhall Meeting

A Twitter friend of mine is outraged at what has happened, and so am I. I just heard Rush speak to some of the people who there, and this is worse than we thought. We knew there were going to be union bosses there with their minnions, but they were there only to do violence with anyone who disagreed with the democrat politician. This is NOT a republican form of government anymore.

Please read his press release over at Rosemary's Thoughts. Also read your Constitution. We were promised a republican form of government (NOT a party), NOT a democracy.

I would fear for our country if I did not believe God is control. Hey, I may not understand at the time what is happening, but He is faithful.

We must remain nonviolent, polite, concise in our questions when we show up at these Townhalls, and don't back down. If you are attacked, demand that these thugs are arrested and do time. This is a fight that is bigger than us. This is a fight for the America that our men and women wearing our Military's uniform are fighting to save our skin. The least we can do is protect America at home. Thank you, and God bless.

Keep calling everyday. Call other states. Make sure your voice is heard, because everyone else sure is doing so. Even the illegal aliens are included in this horrific bill! Yet people who waited who waited to come to this country the proper way are not included. As a matter of fact, I've heard they are excluded. That is outrageous. Keep up the good work Patriots! God bless you, and God Bless America.
